Storytelling for skills & business

Storytelling is a fantastic way to engage adults in a range of subjects and issue areas. It can be a powerful tool to build skills & confidence, engage new strategies, strengthen staff engagement, and align people to new approaches & organisational cultures.

Examples of work:

Staff engagement with new strategic plan: I ran a workshop with a large corporate client during their 100 strong staff conference. Using the art of story telling, the workshop created an engaging and enjoyable way for staff to understand the new strategic aims of the company, understand their role within that, as well as the role of their immediate team.

Skills development: I developed a 2 hour a week, 6 week long course for a public sector client. The aim was to work with under-employed people, using storytelling (both writing and performing) to help build confidence and public speaking skills. The course concluded with a small performance evening where each of the attendees performed some of their work in front of friends and family.

I develop these sessions on a bespoke basis depending on the aims and needs of the client. I am full of ideas, keen to develop content that is fun but ultimately practical. Just get in touch to chat through.
